The Samgynanam Journal is committed to promoting accessible, ethical, and high-quality scholarly publishing. To support this mission, the journal provides transparent information about all publication-related fees.

1. Submission Fees

The journal follows an inclusive, author-friendly approach.

  • No submission fee is charged at any stage.
  • Authors are never required to pay to submit a manuscript for consideration.

Submission, initial screening, and peer review are conducted entirely free of cost.

2. Article Processing Charges (APC)

APCs are typically used by academic journals to cover production and publishing costs such as:

  • Editorial assessment and management
  • Peer review coordination
  • Copyediting and typesetting
  • Online hosting and DOI registration
  • Long-term digital archiving
  • PDF and HTML formatting
  • Indexing and metadata submission

Current APC: ₹0 / $0 (Completely Free)

At present, the journal operates as a no-fee open-access journal.
Authors are not charged for:

  • Submission
  • Peer review
  • Publication
  • Online access

Authors retain copyright and enjoy full open-access benefits.

3. Future APC Structure (If Introduced)

If the journal introduces APCs in the future:

  • Fees will be publicly announced in advance
  • Authors will be informed during submission
  • Waiver and reduction options will be available

Waiver Policy (Future)

The journal may offer:

  • Full waivers for authors from low-income or developing countries
  • Partial waivers for students or early-career researchers
  • Special waivers for invited articles or special issues

Waivers will be granted based on merit, need, and the availability of journal resources.

4. Refund Policy

If APCs are introduced :

  • APCs, once paid and the article is published, will be non-refundable
  • Refunds may only be considered if:
    • The journal rejects the article before publication
    • A duplicate payment is made

The journal does not provide refunds after publication or for withdrawn articles unless a rare exceptional case is approved.
